Was born in 1939. In 1966, he received his licence as a registered pharmacist. In 1969, he was awarded a Ph.D., and then took on an executive position in research in the pharmaceutical industry. In 1974, he took over his parents’ pharmacy in Lahnau and also started keeping horses and riding in shows. It was his own interest and scientific curiosity, as well as customer demand, which inspired him to start the company leovet, specialising in horse care products.
Better health for the horse, less work for the rider - that has been the idea right from the start.

60 products are currently available in the horse care product range, and they are popular all over Europe.
