The wound gauze does not stick to the wound, absorbs moisture well and stays in place. After the wound has been disinfected with Vetericyn Plus Skin Spray, for example, the Gamgee gauze can be applied using Hippotonic Flex-Wrap Cohesive Bandage. Using wound gauze protects the wound from external influences and promotes wound healing. It is therefore a must-have for every first aid kit in the stable. The wound gauze should not be applied too tightly or too loosely, so that the pressure is distributed nicely.
