RYDE Adjustable Safety Frame black

The RYDE Adjustable Safety Frame in black is the original replacement safety frame for the RYDE Adjustable stirrups. With this set, you can easily replace or upgrade the outer frame of the stirrup while maintaining the stirrup’s adjustability, balance, and performance.

The Safety Frame features RYDE’s magnetic safety release system. In the event of a fall, the entire outer side of the stirrup opens to help reduce the risk of the rider getting caught. After activation, the frame automatically returns to its original position.

Magnetic safety release system

The RYDE Safety Frame is designed to combine safety with stability and comfort. During normal riding, the frame remains securely and quietly positioned, while the safety mechanism activates when needed.

The outer side of the stirrup opens during a fall to help reduce the risk of getting stuck in the stirrup. This provides additional safety without compromising balance, grip, or contact with the stirrup.

Durable and flexible design

The Safety Frame is made from a strong TPU-based material that combines durability with controlled flexibility. The pre-mounted spring steel system ensures consistent tension and reliable performance while riding.

One of the advantages of the RYDE stirrups is that various parts are available separately. This means you can not only replace the Safety Frame, but also components such as the Top Holder. This makes the RYDE stirrups durable in use and easy to maintain.

Installing the Safety Frame

During installation, it is important to use the correct screws in the correct positions. The fine-thread screws are used to attach the spring steel element to the Safety Frame. The coarse-thread screws are used to attach the Safety Frame to the stirrup body.

In the image below, you can clearly see where the Safety Frame should be mounted and which components are used during installation.

After installation, always check that all screws are securely tightened to ensure the Safety Frame remains stable and safe during use.
