RYDE SHIFT Top Holder silver

The RYDE SHIFT Top Holder in silver is designed for riders who want to upgrade or replace the top holder on their RYDE stirrups. The SHIFT Top Holder combines lateral adjustment with RYDE’s practical clip-on / clip-off system, allowing you to quickly and easily attach or remove stirrups from the stirrup leathers.

The SHIFT Top Holder is the original top holder used on the RYDE Align stirrup and can be used to replace the existing Align top holder. In addition, this top holder is also compatible with the RYDE Adjustable stirrup. When used on the Adjustable model, the stirrup remains adjustable on two points: the lateral stirrup leather position and the footplate.

Lateral adjustment for improved alignment

The lateral adjustment allows riders to fine-tune the stirrup leather position to better match their body, leg position, and riding style. This helps create more even foot contact with the footplate and supports improved balance in the saddle.

The lateral adjustment helps the stirrup position better align with the rider’s natural leg position. This can reduce uneven pressure on the stirrup and contribute to improved comfort while riding.

Clip-on / clip-off system

Thanks to RYDE’s clip-on / clip-off system, the stirrups can be attached to or removed from the stirrup leathers within seconds. This is ideal when switching between saddles, riders, or setups, or when easily storing your stirrups.

Important difference compared to the 360° Top Holder

The RYDE SHIFT Top Holder provides lateral adjustment only and does not include rotational angle adjustment. If you would like to adjust both the lateral and rotational angle of the stirrup leather position, choose the RYDE 360° Top Holder instead.

How to correctly adjust the RYDE SHIFT Top Holder

Adjust the top holder until your foot feels evenly connected with the footplate — similar to standing naturally on the ground. Afterwards, tighten all screws carefully using the Torx tool and check them regularly. Correct adjustment helps maintain stability, safety, and the longevity of the top holder.

Maintenance

• Rinse with water and use a soft brush if necessary; dry afterwards.
• Only use mild cleaning products suitable for aluminum and plastics.
• Regularly check whether all screws are tightened properly.
