FreeJump Airbag Vest Crystal | Black
With Freejump, you wear an airbag vest without feeling like you're wearing one.
The airbag vest is available in different lengths. The 'Tall' model features a longer cut.
Freejump Airbag Vest – Maximum safety for every rider
Horseback riding is a beautiful sport, but it comes with risks. That’s why more and more riders – from beginners to professionals – are opting for extra safety with an airbag vest. The Freejump Airbag Vest provides advanced protection in the event of a fall, without compromising comfort or freedom of movement. For those who want to combine safety with style, there is now a special version of the Freejump Airbag Vest, featuring refined crystals on the front. The subtle shimmer gives the vest an elegant and feminine look, without sacrificing safety or comfort. Perfect for riders who want to feel just as confident as they do stylish in the saddle.
How does an Airbag Vest work?
In the event of a fall, the airbag vest activates within milliseconds – even before impact – and protects vital parts of the body, including the neck, thorax, back, ribcage, lower back, pelvis, and sacrum. The vest is connected to the saddle with a cord (saddle strap). When tension is applied to this cord during a fall, the air cartridge is triggered, fully inflating the vest in just 98 milliseconds.
How to replace the air cartridge?
After deployment, you don’t need to replace the entire vest – simply install a new air cartridge and it’s ready to use again. Freejump cartridges are available in three sizes, depending on the vest size:
- 50CC for children’s vests (sizes S & L)
- 60CC for adult vests (sizes XXS, XS, S, M, L Regular)
- 85CC for adult vests (sizes L Tall, XL, XXL)
Watch the video on replacing the gas cartridge to learn how to correctly install a new cartridge and ensure your safety on your next ride.
What safety standards does the Airbag Vest meet?
The Freejump Airbag Vest is the first to be certified under the NF S72-800-2022 standard, ensuring optimal protection based on rigorous safety requirements.
It also features the most compact and efficient inflation system currently available on the market.
What size Airbag Vest do you need?
The vest is available in a range of sizes. The Tall model is longer in length, ensuring a better fit for taller riders. Please note: size XXS is suitable for riders from 145 cm in height and a minimum weight of 35 kg.
A special children’s model has been developed to suit smaller body frames and lower body weight. Enlarge the size chart.

Can the Airbag Vest be used with multiple saddles?
Do you use multiple saddles? Extra saddle straps are sold separately. An airbag vest must always be used in combination with a saddle strap. By attaching one to each saddle, you eliminate the need to switch the strap every time. The strap stays in place, allowing you to easily switch between saddles without extra effort.
How to clean and maintain the Airbag Vest?
Proper maintenance is essential to ensure the vest remains safe and functional.
Do not machine wash, dry clean, or submerge the vest in water. Instead, gently clean it with a damp cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use Hey Airbag Cleaner.
Spray the cleaner on the areas that need cleaning and leave it for a moment to let the product do its job. Then, wipe the vest with a dry, soft cloth and allow it to air dry completely before using it again. For tough stains, repeat the process as needed. Always test the cleaner on an inconspicuous area first to ensure colorfastness and fabric quality.
Do not tumble dry, iron, or expose the vest to high temperatures. Avoid folding or rolling the vest for extended periods. Instead, hang it on a hanger and store it in a dry, moisture-free place.
What warranty does the Airbag Vest come with?
The Freejump Airbag Vest comes with a standard two-year warranty. By registering the vest on the Freejump website, you can extend the warranty by an additional two years – for a total of four years. A free full inspection is also included within the first two years of purchase.
Each Freejump Airbag is individually tested before leaving the workshop.
